The second of what will be three movies in a row with previous posts discussing and recommending them. Brick is a modern spin on the noir PI film. There’s murder, mystery, love, and betrayal; all filtered through the setting of a California high school shortly after the turn of the century. If you can, I highly suggest making it a double-feature with The Maltese Falcon first.
